“There is a crack in everything, that’s how the light gets in” – Bob Dylan
I am a Christchurch-based therapist offering individual therapy to clients with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, addiction and compulsive behaviours, sex, gender and body issues, relationship problems, and trauma.
I offer both one-off sessions and longer term therapy, and my therapeutic work is grounded in an attachment-based ISTDP (intensive short term dynamic psychotherapy).
You can find out more about ISTDP here .
If you are interested in finding out more about therapy, or would like to book an appointment, you can contact me on 0274036207, or by emailing me at annapariscounselling@gmail.com . My rooms are at 79 Bealey Avenue, opposite the corner of Montreal Street and Bealey Avenue, in Christchurch. I also offer appointments online via zoom.
Please note that I am currently unable to see clients who are using Work and Income’s disability allowance to subsidise counselling. I am also unable to see clients who have ACC-sensitive claims.
I welcome LGBTQ+ folk to my practice.
